Thanks, It worked like a charm.
Now, the other problem I have is that, yesterday the e-mail feature was working perfectly, I was receiving camera shots every time the camera detected any movement, however, today I have not received any e-mails and when I do the test o e-mail settings I get a message that the camera could nor connect to server. I have not changed any parameters. What could be wrong?
Is it possible that Yahoo and hotmail (the sending accounts) requiere some kind of captcha to log in as sender?
I wish you could help me with this to.
Thanks a lot.

It occurs to me that an added functionality for this cameras would be that the camera would send an SMS message to a certain (or several) mobile phones when motion is detected. The reason for this is that not all mobile devices have accces to the Internet.
Do you know of any e-mail service provider that could send an SMS message when it receives an e-mail with a certain header or from a certain sender?
I would be great.

Thanks a lot.

Which Email account are you using? I have problem with gmail and hotmail account, neither of them is working to me but Yahoo.com. You can find their available open port from their Help section, usually are 576, 465, and 25, the yahoo.com smpt mail server is smpt.mail.yahoo.com. Hope this help.
For sms text message, I found one of the 3rd party software got this function but it cost 20ish to 80ish USD, its call www.h264soft.com.

Why not use your GMX to send email to your Gmail account? That's what I do.

Can't seem to get mine working.
My smtp is smtp.att.yahoo.com
port 465

When I test a box pops up asking for my user name and password.
The test doesn't pass.

Any ideas.

Thanks

vardelda: I've had Comcast working without a problem for several months. Here's my config:

Mail Service Settings
Sender: MY_EMAIL_ADDRESS@comcast.net

SMTP Server: smtp.comcast.net
SMTP Port: 25
Need Authentication YES (checked)
SMTP User: MY_EMAIL_ADDRESS <---without the comcast.net
SMTP Password: MY_EMAIL_ADDRESS_PASSWORD
